Multi-composite braiding machine

Cobra supply braiding machines for the development of multi-composite wire.

This multi composite wire is used in magnet and wire technology for the developement of advanced concepts and materials for increasing magnetic fields.

Used in a large variety of experiements in solid state physics under exteme conditions and low temperatures. Development of multi-composite wires allows magnet designers to push design envelopes.

Materials such as Zylon for internal reinforcement and strong axial compresson are used.

Typically 24 carrier machines with a horizontal axis are used for this application.
